LO ; to analyse a media text using using media language

when taking this image it was taken head on as a medium long shot so that the audience can see what he's wearing and can see the gun around his leg, his outfit makes him look very casual until you see his gloves and gun which gives him the look of an assassin. his watch could mean many things such as, he's a very punctual person or needs it for specific timing, he could be wearing it to signify wealth as watches like this one tend to be rather luxurious and expensive. his facial expression seems bleak and emotionless, maybe because he has seen far too many people die to care about who he kills, or maybe because he's devoted to whatever mission he's on. the background is gold,as a precious metal, gold is the colour of wealth and luxury (especially in combination with black). However, it also goes along with ideas of love, wisdom and magic. 

diegetic sounds in the trailer and why they kept them in it---

all of these sounds were kept in the trailer to add excitement and adrenalin for the viewers  

the comedy/horror movie 'the babysitter' has a variety of different shots in the poster as the 4 people at the bottom all have a medium long shot of them, the two girls in the top corners have a mid-shot and the boy in the middle has a close up shot, since he's the biggest/most zoomed in and he's placed right in the middle, this could state that he's  the main character. 

the blood on his face and neck could be showing that he gets seriously injured during the process of this movie and the background is a smoky red/purple with hints of black, this makes the background look menacing or evil.  

all of the women in this look very made up with outfits that tend to show a lot of their body this is a toxic feminine stereotype that all the women must be covered in makeup and dressed in revealing clothes to get the mans attention.
