Special effects are illusions or visual tricks used in the theatre, film, television, video game, and simulator industries to simulate the imagined events in a story or virtual world. Special effects are traditionally divided into the categories of mechanical effects and optical effects. Pyrotechnics, prosthetic makeup, animatronics, and live-action weather elements are just a few examples of special effects. 

CGI stands for computer generated imagery, which is the use of computer graphics in art and media. These can be 2D or 3D animations, objects, or renderings.

Thursday 23rd June 2022          Shot Composition  LO: to understand the basic rules of shot composition Rule Of Thirds The rule of thirds in photography is a guideline that  places the subject in the left or right third of an image, leaving the other two thirds more open . It divides a photo into nine equal parts, split by two equally spaced horizontal and vertical lines. Three images with leading lines   Leading lines are  lines that appear in a photograph that have been framed and positioned by the photographer to draw the viewer's eye towards a specific point of interest .
